Something different and unique for Christmas
We received Germanica as a gift and we really love it. It is unlike any other Christmas deco that we have seen. We love the minimal design and the smooth concrete. It is clear that very high-quality materials are used. The stainless steel base makes it very stable. The best part is that we can decorate it as we'd like or leave it simple and very minimalistic. We look forward to displaying Germanica for many many Christmases to come.

A special Christmas tree made of real concrete for minimalists
GERMANICA is a Christmas tree for purists: straightforward, jagged, fresh and modern.
With the intention of creating a modern home accessory, we have reinterpreted the traditional shape of the Christmas tree with GERMANICA.
Without frills and in the typical CO33 design, GERMANICA is also unobtrusive, but still makes its presence felt. Securely bolted to a stainless steel plate, it rises upwards in a slender and delicate manner, yet still allows the observer a clear view of its surroundings.
With its aura of calm and concrete-grey elegance, GERMANICA is sure to delight any minimalist and can be left standing as a decorative object all year round.
GERMANICA owes its name to the German tradition of putting up a Christmas tree at Christmas, which dates back to the 15th century. At that time, Martin Luther declared it the Christmas symbol of the Protestants. Towards the end of the 19th century, the custom became an integral part of Christmas celebrations in Germany, before gradually spreading throughout Europe thanks to the family ties between German aristocratic families and the courts abroad. Emigrants and German soldiers who fought in the American War of Independence popularised it in the New World in the course of the 19th century. In 1891, a Christmas tree stood in front of the White House in Washington for the first time.
